We constantly sell product to new and interesting customers. The latest that caught my attention was an order through our friends at #NorthernTool. This order was going to a great program in California called Vallecito Camp CalFire. California helps to reduce the inmate population by offerinq qualified inmates the opportunity to work forest fires under the supervision of the California department #Calfire. Here is a nice artical about how the program works. http://archive2.capradio.org/articles/2013/05/21/fire-camps-key-to-reducing-prison-overcrowding/

According to several articles across the website, including http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/2014/09/article/honda-issues-recall-on-126000-gold-wings/ Honda has a significant recall going on for their popular #Goldwing #GL1800 motorcycles. If you are a #Honda Service dealer and need a strong lift to handle those big bikes, check out HMC's SL-30 Series lifts. If your service work includes the Honda Goldwing Trikes, check out the SL-30W Trike Edition which includes 3 Ramps, the 4 Side Extensions, and our industry leading SL-30 Air Lift with a 1,200 lb capacit and a 30" wide x 90" long table.
We have already had several customers order our heavy duty lifts for this particular service work as our competitors have had trouble folding the tops from the weight. HMC's detent bar is engineered to support the heavy load of a trike, spyder, atv, or utv. Our detent bar does not load the table, instead it is attached at the frame...relieving that stress on the table which causes some lifts to fold. In addition, an HMC lift has fully boxed support tubes both horizontally and vertically under the table and a removable top support bar which supports the top where the rear drop out is cut from the table. You can't buy a stronger and more heavy duty lift MADE IN AMERICA by HMC Industries. For years, shops have had only one option when it came to buying quality service lifts; we've given you that second option for quality...just give us a chance to prove it. Give us a call and let us tell you more about the new HMC SL-Series Air Lifts. Lift DevelopmentI can't believe how long it's been since we've posted on our blog...just goes to show how busy we've been developing new products. At this time we've finally figured out the wood needed for those pesty pallets for our lifts. I'm sorry for some of the delays many have experienced, we just didn't want to ship any of our awesome lifts and then have them get to our fabulous customers all beat up. The last set we shipped 2 weeks ago all arrived in MINT condition with our customers very happy with them. So if you have a lift on order, we are processing them as quickly as possible and you should see them any day....as always we will email you when your lift ships with carrier information and then follow up to make sure all went well. Fuel CaddiesWow! I can't believe how busy we've been building the best fuel caddies in the world. Our back order of nearly 200 units over the last few months has finally processed through our system and 99% are back to normal lead times. We are still back ordered on our popular FST-15 Fuel Stations, but those should get filled by the first of March, just in time for all our landscapper friends to have the best way to transport their fuel to keep their mowers cutting grass! New Product IdeasDo you have a new product idea? If you have something you really need manufactured for your shop or service needs; submit your ideas to us via email. If it's something we think we can manufacture it and it's a viable product we will offer you some great compensation for the idea...plus you pretty much become famous as we'll put your name on it as another customer's brilliant idea!
Well that's it for now...I'll promise to try and update our blog more than once per year...plus we have some REALLY cool new products launching this summer...so I know I'm excited to share them! Take care and everyone be safe and make some money using the best shop products in the world....HMC Lifts and Caddies! Join us in welcoming Big R stores in Oregon as our newest retailer. You can find our GC-30G, GC-20R and our FST-15 Fuel stations at their 3 locations in the upper NorthWest.
HMC is proud to see one of our GC-20R Gas Caddy's headed to Camp Seymour in Gig Harbor, Washington. Camp Seymour's mission is to put Christiian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. That sounds like a great Mission Statement to us at HMC Industries! Donations to Camp Seymour can be made here. _
The Hitch Man in Maryland and PennsylvaniaHMC is proud to introduce our latest stocking dealer, The Hitch Man. They have 3 stores in Maryland and Pennsylvania. They offer everything you need for you hitch, trailer, and snow plow. They currently have our FST-15 Fuel Station and our GC-20R Gas Caddy's in stock.
One of the nice things about doing business with HMC is the consistency we offer in our product line. While our competitors rush out new products, we fully test in house and have a group of close customers who demo new items for quality and ease of use. In the last two years, one of HMC's competitors in the gas caddy market has offered 3 different models of pumps. At first they had a standard 2 vane pump that felt like sand paper when you rotated it. After publishing testimonials from customers about how much better it was over the traditional aluminum cast pump, they then moved to offering a three vane pump. Well, it appears they have given up on both their standard and professional and now offer yet another pump. Meanwhile, HMC has been building their Aluminum Cast, 3 Vane PPS pump for over 3 years now....and it's the a similar design as was built under Marshalltown Pump, Western Mfg. Pump, and Handy Industries LLC Pump....the design has been proven since the early 70's....that's a pretty good testament. We buy our castings locally and machine them in house. The vanes and rotors come from an American company in Mississippi and are also machined in house. Finally we assemble the pump complete in house...keeping a close eye on tolerances and quality construction. The best thing about consistency is that when you need that pump rebuilt, we can do it, because we are still building them new today. Today was a fun day. We received a nice order from one of our best dealers to ship 4 GC-30R units to the Statue of Liberty. We have shipped to the Park Service before, but this is the first time the order was specific for such a prestigious park. We hope they perform flawlessly in whatever means they will be used. We are proud to have provided equipment to our Federal employees who maintain such historic areas. Thank you to the civil servants of America for your hard work and dedication. We also would like to say a HUGE thank you to a county in the State of Maryland for their recent purchase of several GC-30 series units. We hope they help the district maintain and service the grounds equipment with efficiency and safely. It is a wonderful idea to use the HMC product line to store and service school district ground equipment. A GC-Series product promotes safety and allows users a chance to monitor fuel use. The other day the front office was a buzz with an order that came in through Northern Tool. Ship to the FBI. Now, I'm sure they probably needed our product for some ordain use like facility management...but you know how people's imagination works....there were thoughts like; "I wonder if it will be used to power some super secret spy equipment" or one shop guy said, "I bet they will use it to fill their flame thrower"! LOL.... Anyway, you just never know who might need an HMC Gas Caddy. They have so many different uses and come in handy in so many ways....but we are always excited to sell one to someone who pushes our imagination! Manheim is the largest vehicle wholesaler in the world. When Manheim's corporate location in Atlanta, Georgia was having trouble with their China built gas caddy's...they turned to HMC Industries. The quality of workmanship and HMC's commitment to provide personal customer service was a huge factor in their decision to change suppliers. Every week Manheim in Atlanta uses HMC's Gas Caddy to keep over 20 auction lanes up and running. They needed a supplier they could depend on and they came to HMC! |
