Our Gas Caddy series of tanks are the safest, strongest, most durable means to do just that! Manufactured in Marshalltown, Iowa out of Heavy Gauge Steel, these tanks will give you years and years of quality service and dependability. Leak tested, pressure tested, and painted with a durable powder coat; they have large 10" solid rubber tires (made in the U.S. from recycled rubber), a 1/4" drain plug, 2" diameter fill neck separate from the vent, and CNC machined aluminum front feet which are easily replaced if damaged. HMC Industries is the only source for 30 gallon, 20 gallon, & 15 gallon models...and are all made in the United States!
The GC Series of Gas Caddies include our GP-1 Bi-Directional Rotary Pump The GP-1 Pump is made of an all aluminum housing and internal rotor and vanes designed for fuels like gasoline and diesel. We manufacture and build the GP-1 pump ourselves. The aluminum castings are cast right down the road by ACME Brass & Aluminum Foundry. We machine the aluminum castings in our Okuma CNC lathes by our sister company Hollingsworth Mfg. The internal rotors and vanes are injection molded in the U.S. and made from a highly specialized material molded by RTP Plastics in Minnesota. Each pump is hand built and tested for vacuum during assembly. The GP-1 pump is rebuildable through our internal rebuild program.
The fuel hose assembly is almost a special as our pump. The CH-12 hose is a dual bonded hose composed of both PVC and Poly-Carbonate. This hose material is designed specifically to have transparency and for gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and oil exposure. It is important that while pumping fuel you can see the fuel flow through the hose for safety. The hose also has an internal ground wire which dissipates any electrostatic energy while fuel flows through the hose. Never simply use a rubber or pvc hose without an internal ground.
